Triple Irish Chain Quilt Block

Every avid quilter has a variation of sorts of the Irish chain in her collection. The Triple Irish Chain block makes a perfect old-fashioned quilt. There are many variations including the single, double and here is the triple.

Using 3 colors is a good rule for this quilt. Thirteen inch quilt blocks with 13 pieced blocks and 12 plain squares would be enough for a quilt, and then a border can be added to achieve any size.
