A quilt top measuring 76 1/2” x 95” is composed of 37 triangles per horizontal row is pieced as illustrated. Complete 20 such rows using a total of 740 triangles. If you choose to do half of the triangles (370 when alternated as shown) in a single dark fabric, 3 2/3 yards would be purchased. Should you choose to cut the remaining 370 triangles in five different fabrics you would need 7/8 yard of each fabric.
The triangle forming the vertical outside edges when quilt top is complete should be cut in half to form even straight edges all around.
