Pat A Cake - Applique Pattern, Line Drawings for Nursery Rhyme Song
You'll have loads of fun creating your own interpretation of every toddler's favorite rhyme, 'Pat A Cake'. These line drawings include all the applique elements you need for a colorful and charming wall hanging or baby quilt, including a baby, a baker, a cake, an oven and, of course, a pair of hands to pat that cake into shape!
By resizing the hand and cake shapes, you could use those smaller motifs to appliqué around the border of the piece. Use an array of appliqué thread colors to add bold color highlights and use fabric markers to add facial details to the baker and baby.
Pat-a-cake, pat-a-cake, baker's man.
Bake me a cake as fast as you can
You roll it, pat it, mark it with a "B"
And you put it in the oven for baby and me!
