Alternating pieced blocks with plain blocks in a checkerboard fashion, the finished quilt measures about 84” x 97 1/2” without a border. The alternating plain blocks are 10 1/2” x 12 1/2”, cut 35. There are 35 pieced blocks.
Cut the number of pieces indicated on each pattern. Because of the number of pieces (9) involved in each block it is well to refer to diagram often as blocks are pieced.
